About Us

The Idea Center is our school district's dedicated hub for elementary school gifted education, bringing together the elementary school LEAP and PEGS programs under one roof. LEAP provides weekly enrichment opportunities through thematic, multidisciplinary units that encourage exploration, critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity. In addition, Lindbergh Schools is proud to be home of the St. Louis Regional Program for Exceptionally Gifted Students (PEGS), a regional public school program designed for the unique needs of exceptionally gifted students, who make up about 1% of the gifted student population.
